Our Clean, Polish and Check service includes checking the integrity of your jewellery piece by checking for loose gemstones and signs of wear and tear. The jewellery piece is then cleaned using an ultrasonic bath followed by multiple stages of emery (sanding) then finished with a full polish, leaving you with a restored piece of jewellery.
The white gold jewellery, and, in some cases, silver jewellery, is coated in a precious metal called rhodium. The rhodium provides your white gold jewellery with a bright white appearance. In fact, even white gold can develop a slight yellow tint when its rhodium coating wears off. If your white gold jewellery has become a little dull, you need to have it rhodium coated again. To ensure your white gold jewellery remains crisp and white, we recommend having it rhodium plated every 6-12 months.
At VAHÉ Jewellery we can resize rings of all styles and precious metals including silver, gold & platinum. Besides resizing both new and old jewellery, we can also assess your items to determine if additional work needs to be done and can give you a free no-obligation quote. Our expert staff will size your finger onsite so that it is exactly the right size for you. Ring sizing involves a variety of factors that need to be considered to ensure the ring fits properly.
Shank or band replacements in jewellery involve completely replacing the part of a ring that wraps around the finger. This service is often needed when the band is worn away, significantly damaged or if the ring size needs a significant adjustment. We also ensure the new shank matches the original design profile, maintaining the ring's aesthetic and structural integrity.
Over the course of time, we tend to damage our rings unintentionally. As a result of wear and tear, a diamond or gemstone in your ring may become loose and even fall out as the metal corrodes around them. Since diamonds and gemstones are highly delicate objects, it is extremely important to ensure that the claws that hold them in place are maintained in a structurally sound manner.
Among the chain repair services we offer are rebuilding or replacing chain ends, as well as repairing or replacing worn out clasps. Additionally, we are able to clean and polish all kinds of chains.
